Reporting to the Board, the CEO will be responsible for implementing the strategic objectives of TasBuild and managing the overall operations in an effective and sustainable manner. You will provide visionary leadership to a professional team in the delivery of high quality, customer focussed services along with fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration, making it easier for employers and workers to conduct business with TasBuild.

Other key responsibilities include raising the profile of TasBuild within the industry and oversight of the organisation’s investment activities including the newly created Tasmanian Construction Fund which provides finance to developers undertaking construction projects in Tasmania.

Your proven success in a senior leadership role and understanding of the financial services sector, combined with your contemporary people management and stakeholder engagement skills, will ensure you succeed in this role. Strong skills in governance, strategic thinking, innovation, business acumen and communication are also essential for contributing to the future growth and sustainability of TasBuild.
