**About the role**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Building & Construction Associate or Senior Associate to join our high performing, friendly and innovative Commercial Disputes team, which services a broad mix of clients including large corporations, SMEs, high net worth individuals, owner’s corporations, local councils and government.

While this role is based in our Sydney CBD office, at Bartier Perry we all have the opportunity to work flexibly and remotely. Bartier Perry offers structured career progression for those who want it, within a warm, friendly and supportive environment.

**About you**
- 4 + years PQE working on a variety of building and construction law matters, including strata defects and disputes, general building construction disputes and general disputes
- Strong knowledge of tribunal and court practice and procedure
- Knowledge of SOPA legislation and experienced with adjudications (both for claimants and respondents)
- Experience with defects and general strata disputes;
- Familiarity with standard form building contracts;
- Working with building experts and report preparation on technical issues;
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong research and troubleshooting methods
- Excellent time management and ability to work to meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
