**About The Role...**

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience for our Brisbane office.

This dynamic full-time role is pivotal in driving sales and fostering strong client relationships by leveraging in-depth technical knowledge of our products/services. You will act as a specialist, providing solutions and support to industrial, business, professional, and other establishments.

**Salary range**: $75,000 to 85,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on a wide range of aluminium products, including extrusions, sheets, plates, profiles, and specialty alloys, tailored to meet individual client requirements.
- Interpret architectural drawings and construction documents, working closely with specifications and BDMs to ensure product suitability.
- Offer technical guidance on aluminium systems, glazing options, hardware compatibility, and installation methods.
- Support fabricators, installers, and builders by providing solutions and troubleshooting assistance during the design and installation phases.
- Create competitive quotes, negotiating pricing, and managing delivery timelines to meet customer expectations.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, including post-sale support and assistance.
- Prepare and present weekly progress reports to management.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Assess customer needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., AS/NZS).
- Conduct client follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Establish and build strong relationships, partnerships, and collaborations between business customers.
- Work towards achieving annual sales targets.
- Prepare and present regular project supply updates and reports to management.
- Manage internal and external resources as required.
- Contribute towards continuous improvement in company processes and procedures.
- Ability to problem solve and take ownership of all supply project’s and develop new business with existing and new installers and fabricators.

**About You...**

You will have:

- Technical understanding of aluminium systems and materials.
- Degree qualified or equivalent years of relevant experience in technical sales
- Must be organised, have good documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers, teams, and suppliers.
- Enjoy collaborating with teams and sharing knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving ability and being able to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of relative Australian Standards and knowledge of design and specification would be an advantage
