We are proud to partner with a unique Australian success story that manufactures a range of premium entertaining products along with on-trend health foods. We are looking for someone to join an extremely dynamic business that has doubled in size and complexity within the last two years, whilst also transitioning to a new purpose-built site, in the south east of Melbourne.

Working as part of a skilled maintenance team, this role operates on a rotating 12 hour ‘continental shift’ roster across day and night, with every second weekend resting.

This role is integral to the continued success and efficient running of the state-of-the-art facility, you will be responsible for ensuring that, as part of a team, the manufacturing operation and all associated machinery and equipment is fully supported from a maintenance and improvement perspective.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

- Ensure that all machines/equipment and plant are maintained in a safe and hygienic manner.
- Ensure that all Maintenance areas are kept clean & tidy.
- Ensure that the CMMS (MEX) contains all necessary information about the plant and equipment.
- Ensure that all feedback from the suppliers, operations and maintenance team is used in the optimisation the preventative maintenance programme.
- Ensure that all maintenance staff have access to the technical knowledge and experience required for them to manage work orders to perform maintenance tasks via open and effective communication.
- Ensure that all maintenance staff update the CMMS Data base after any works have been completed. This includes all preventative, corrective and emergency works.
- Ensure that all necessary instructions and recommendations are available on hand when undertaking any maintenance tasks to ensure all tasks are addressed.
- Provide support to the Project improvement teams during planned works, as well as unexpected events.

You will have previous experience in a hands-on maintenance engineering role ideally in a manufacturing environment, with the ability demonstrate experience in fault finding, problem solving and preventative maintenance.

Essential:

- Mechanical Trade Qualifications
- Ideally Electrical Trade Qualifications (A Grade Licence)
- Strong understanding of the operation of manufacturing equipment and facility, including maintenance requirements
- Ability to build relationships, listen and communicate at all levels effectively

**Salary**: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
