We have a fantastic growth opportunity for a dedicated care provider with heart to join us as a Domestic Assistant at Sapphire Living on the Sunshine Coast QLD. Whether you already have aged care experience or not, we’ll help you get where you need to be.

As a Domestic Assistant_, _you’ll develop valuable aged care and communication skills by helping our clients - older Australians - with general daily tasks and providing exceptional in-home care.

**So, what does the role entail?**

**As a **Domestic Assistant**, you will**:

- **Domestic Assistance**: Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, emptying garbage, washing dishes and putting them away, washing and ironing clothes, bed making, meal preparation, assisting around the garden and shopping.
- **Unescorted shopping**:Running errands on a client’s behalf.

You’ll work hard and with empathy to complete a variety of domestic duties for our clients. But this role is much more than just a cleaning job. Every task you complete as a Care Worker helps an older person to live as independently as possible in their own homes.

**We are looking for someone with**:

- A current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003/4) and current CPR certificate (HLTAID001.)
- The right to work in Australia.
- National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain (myHomecare will organise via WorkPro at no cost).
- Proof of Covid Vaccination.
- Experience working in aged, disability care or domestic assistance is desirable, but not required.
