REGIONAL LEAD NEEDED AT DISABILITY SUPPORT ORGANISATION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and mentor a team of Senior and Clinical Lifestyle Assistants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of allocated Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Individualised Living Options (ILO) services.
- Ensure all services comply with NDIS quality and safeguarding standards while upholding Great Mates’ mission and values.
- Work closely with individuals, families, and external stakeholders to develop and implement individual lifestyle plans that support independence and well-being.
- Manage financial and administrative tasks, including budgets, payroll approvals, invoicing, and reporting.
- Develop and implement staff rosters to ensure appropriate service coverage and continuity of care.
- Conduct performance reviews, training sessions, and team meetings to support professional development.
- Maintain accurate care documentation and compliance records, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
- Identify and implement best-practice initiatives to improve service delivery and participant outcomes.
- Ensure risk management procedures and WHS policies are adhered to across all operational areas.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in a leadership or supervisory role within the disability, healthcare, or community services sector.
- Proven experience in supporting individuals with complex needs, mental health conditions, and high-intensity supports.
- Strong understanding of NDIS compliance, policies, and reporting requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in budget management, rostering, and operational efficiency.
- Diploma of Disability, Community Services, or equivalent qualification.
- Current First Aid Certificate and NDIS Worker Screening (Blue & Yellow Card).
- Current unrestricted QLD driver’s licence.
