Our client, a leader in steel processing and fabrication, is actively seeking a skilled **Machine Operator** to join their high-performing team in **Sunshine North, VIC**. This is your opportunity to work with a reputable company offering competitive hourly rates and a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
- **Pay Rates**:

- **Day Shift (6:00am - 2:30pm): $39.33/hr**:

- **Afternoon Shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm): $47.03/hr**
- **Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain machinery used in the **bending and cutting of reinforcement steel bars**:

- Use **Overhead Cranes and Gantry Cranes** safely and efficiently
- Set up machines according to production specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and output targets are met
- Perform routine maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Work as part of a cohesive production team

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Proven experience in **machine operation within the steel or manufacturing industry**, especially reinforcement bar processing
- Skilled in the use of **Overhead and Gantry Cranes**:

- Knowledge of **reinforcement steel manufacturing and handling processes**:

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve mechanical or production issues
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
- **Location**: Sunshine North, VIC
- **Shifts Available**: Day and Afternoon (see above)
