Optical Assistant/dispenser

At Forestway Optometry, we pride ourselves on providing personalized eyecare to our community. Our practice combines advanced technology with a welcoming environment to ensure our patients feel valued and cared for.

**The Role**
As an Optical Assistant/Dispenser, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting patients with frame and lens selection tailored to their needs.
- Advising on lens options (if qualified as a dispenser).
- Adjusting and repairing spectacle frames.
- Managing appointments and patient scheduling.
- Ordering and checking spectacle and contact lens jobs.
- Conducting pre-testing before optometrist consultations.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient practice environment.

**About You**
We’re looking for someone who:

- Has optical dispensing experience or relevant optical industry experience.
- Is available to work rotating Saturdays and Sundays.
- Can commit to working 4-5 days per week.
- Is eager to learn more about optical dispensing and patient care.
