Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

We are currently recruiting Personal Care workers for The Hills Shire NSW - Box Hill, Nelson, Annangrove, Kellyville, Beaumont Hills, Norwest, Bella Vista, Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Kenthurst, Maraylya, Glenorie and surrounding areas.

- Travel Allowance of $0.92 per KM PLUS paid travel time

Your New Role:

- Personal Care: Experienced staff assist customers with Personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, help at mealtime & medication prompting
- Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation & assisted dressing
- Transport: transportation to appointments, shopping and social outings
- Client Awareness: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
- Safety Practices: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe

Key Requirements:

- Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
- Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
- All Australian Unity Employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID19 with a minimum of 2 doses
- Align to our values of Warm, Bold & Honest
- Must have a minimum 12 months experience in delivering Personal Care and/or a Certificate III in Individual Support
- Proficiency in an additional language such as Mandarin/ Vietnamese/ Spanish/ Arabic/ Lebanese/ Greek is valued but not mandatory

**Salary**: $31.38 per hour

If successful you will need to attend 8 full days of paid training (Tues-Fri) held over the first 2 weeks of employment. Can you can commit to this?
- Advise the days and times you are available to work noting the rosters are predominantly Monday to Friday commencing 7am/8am

Licence/Certification:

- Own reliable and Insured Car to drive to clients’ homes (required)
- Australian Drivers Licence (Overseas licence not accepted) (required)
- Proof of being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (required)
