**About the Opportunity**

First-year apprentices pursuing the MEM30205 Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Mechanical Fitter ZA) program, who will join our expanding team next year. This opportunity also includes the chance to start as a Trades Assistant in December.

**Your responsibilities in this role will include;**
- Troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on a range of hydraulic equipment
- Assisting trades people in the workshop
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Develop a good understanding of fits, finishes and tolerances
- Maintain apprentice log book to a high standard

**About You**
- Minimum Year 10 high school certificate
- Exhibit a genuine passion for their chosen trade,( **Demonstrated through prior work experience or personal hobbies and interests )**:

- Have an overriding commitment to health, safety and environment responsibility as well as a driver’s license
- Good mathematical and mechanical skills and an enjoyment for technical work
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and customer centric mind-set
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine desire to learn and develop.
