**Description**:
ABOUT THE ROLE

Empower provides assistance with daily living, health & wellbeing, work readiness, relationship building and importantly, helps people connect with their community and participate. In-home support can include personal care and hygiene, meal planning and preparation, help attending medical appointments and supervising medication, healthy lifestyle support, grocery shopping and assistance participating in activities that support life skills development.

Our Empower program puts the needs of participants first and tailors activities to the goals and aspirations of individuals.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**Criteria**:

- Cert III in relevant industry qualification and/or significant relevant experience
- Current Driver’s Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Evidence of full COVID 19 vaccination
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
- Demonstrated understanding of a person-centred approach.
- Ability to follow established support work practices.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to connect with clients.
