**KGF has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Manager**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role will see you leading and managing the Electrical function, as part of the overall Maintenance team, delivering reactive and preventative electrical work to ensure the plant has mínimal lost time due to electrical fault/failure. This role will help support the business to achieve its operational and strategic goals through facilitating the optimal use of current and future assets.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure the optimal coordination and allocation of resources to deliver the electrical requirements efficiently and effectively, within budget, including minimising utility and consumable usage
- Develop solutions in partnership with the business to address organisational and industry challenges as they are anticipated or as they arise, with these solutions being based on sound engineering principles, legislation and a risk management approach
- For allocated projects, co-ordinate implementation through to successful operation within agreed time frames and budget. This includes: detail planning, quotations, electrical/performance specifications, selection of suppliers and/or contractors, purchase of agreed equipment, installation and commissioning
- Implement strategies to ensure compliance with other relevant rules, regulations and legislative requirements in the workplace

**ABOUT YOU**
- 5 years experience in an industrial environment, preferably FMCG
- An appropriate/suitable tertiary electrical qualification
- Confidence in decision making and leading a team of technical experts
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions and communicate them clearly during breakdown situations
- Project management skills
- Ability to prioritise work and lead from the front in creating an effective team
