**Job Title**: Financial Accounting Specialist (Mid to Senior Level)

**Location**:Brisbane or Canberra

**Contract Duration**:November 2024 - March 2025

**Employment Type**: Part-Time or Full-Time (Flexible)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct detailed balance sheet reviews and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Provide financial guidance to other members of the finance team as required.
- Collaborate on month-end closing processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Support audit processes and regulatory filings as needed.

**Key Requirements**:

- Proven experience in financial accounting, particularly in balance sheet management.
- Mid to senior level expertise with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Ability to work autonomously while offering support to junior finance team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working within Australian accounting standards is preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

** Australian Citizenship and AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance required. **
