About the role
As an Assistant in Nursing at Calvary Drug and Alcohol Centre your role will be to support clients in the withdrawal and residential unit. You will work alongside Enrolled Nurses, Registered Nurses and Allied health professionals to support clients through their recovery journey. The role is a fulltime role and requires night and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Observation and Reporting
Supporting residents in their daily schedule
Supporting the Residential Community to work together in a safe and cohesive manner
Supporting resident outings
About you
A Certificate III in Health Services assistance
Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
Basic computer skills
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
