**Role Description/Criteria**

**As Literacy Leader you will**:

- Work closely with the Learning and Teaching Leader to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based literacy practices.
- Support and coach teachers to deliver high-quality, differentiated literacy instruction.
- Analyse student data to inform practice and improve outcomes.
- Coordinate whole-school literacy programs and assessments.
- Collaborate with staff, leadership, and families to support student growth.
- Have a deep understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and contemporary literacy pedagogy.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Be committed to the Catholic ethos and values of our school community.
- Have excellent communication and organisational abilities

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in education.
- Demonstrated experience in literacy leadership or a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to working in partnership with staff, students, and families in a faith-filled learning environment.
- Demonstrate a commitment to our Child Safe policies and procedures.
