**The Role You Could Play**:
We are looking for a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager for a 12 month parental leave contract, to take responsibility for developing and implementing health, safety and wellbeing strategic initiatives, including the WHS Management System and providing advice to leaders and team members to improve safe work practices and build a positive health and safety culture at MECCA Brands.

Some of the key activities you will be involved in include:

- Identify, implement and monitor strategies to ensure safe work practices
- Build a positive health and safety culture at MECCA Brands
- Be the key point of contact for all external health and safety bodies
- Safety Training, Advice and Support for leaders and team members across the organisation
- WorkCover Case Management and Return to Work Support

This role is based in our Support Centre in Richmond, operating across both Australia and New Zealand, there will be a key focus on supporting our Retail stores, Support Centre and Supply Chain to drive positive safety outcomes for our Distribution Centres.

**What You Will Bring:
You will be comfortable engaging with a broad range of stakeholders both internally and externally, building relationships with leaders and team members across the organisation and positively influencing safety outcomes for our team members. Along with leading a small team, you will be able to clearly convey information and ideas well, communicate sensitive and delicate information and make informed, timely and effective decisions after adequately contemplating various available courses of action.

A Certificate IV in Health and Safety and a Return to Work Certification is required and tertiary qualifications in WHS or other related fields are highly desirable but not essential.
