Industrial property situated in Dandenong South requires a handy person to work on general building maintenance ,painting, grounds keeping and repairs

The role

We are looking for a reliable Handy person to undertake upkeep and repair tasks throughout the company’s premises. Reporting to the Operations Manager, we will rely on you to keep our facilities in excellent condition by doing various odd jobs. Deft hands and technical knowledge are important parts of a handyman’s arsenal. You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job.
- Perform maintenance and light repairs and assist tradespeople with repairs
- Perform routine landscaping /gardening on the grounds
- Assist with small renovations/painting/patching/repairing as required
- Conduct light carpentry as directed e.g., repair hinges doors etc.)
- Fulfil other duties as requested by Management

Interested applicants should have
- Proven experience as a handyman/knowledge of the building industry
- Proven ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment
- Basic understanding of maintenance and general landscaping.
- Solid communication ability, attention to detail and time management

**Salary**: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Work Location: In person
