Are you up for the challenge? **About the Role** Our John Holland OHW team prides itself in finding the safest, most efficient solutions for constructing OHW systems in an ever-changing dynamic environment. We place safety as our number one priority and strive to succeed to ensure high quality outcomes for our partners and clients in building and maintaining Rail Infrastructure. We are currently looking for Electrical trade persons that have previous experience and qualifications working in the rail and electrical industry. We are offering the opportunity to upskill current qualifications and experience to enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to complete a trade in ESI Rail Traction and/or Distribution based in Seven Hills in full-time roles. Reporting to the Depot Manager, these roles will support our Rail Services business in maintaining & constructing local Rail Infrastructure as well as the construction of John Holland’s Major Projects locally and around the country. Works are predominantly in Sydney but we also support projects interstate as required. There will be a requirement for nightshift as well as weekend work to deliver for our clients and customers. **Responsibilities of the role include**: - Enrolment and completion of Cert III Rail Traction and/or Distribution trade - Supporting Rail Traction & Distribution Lineworkers to deliver Rail Infrastructure works - Pre-assembly/Fabrication of OHW assemblies - Concreting/Carpentry tasks associated with the installation of Mast Foundations - Dogging/Rigging associated with the installation of OHW Masts and Portals - Installation of assemblies and hardware - Stringing and tensioning of conductors - Making of electrical and mechanical connections - Operation of Hi-Rail MEWP’s - Operating forklifts - Driving Light/Heavy Vehicles **About You**: We are looking for proactive construction industry individuals who have good communication skills and who embody John Holland’s values - caring, empowering, imaginative, and future-focused.
