Account Officer

Our branch specialises in structural steel framing for single and multi-level prefabricated buildings for education, mining, accommodation, and buildings in general. We operate in Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Eastern States Engineering has built a quality reputation which is supported by dedicated management teams and employees. Currently, we are experiencing rapid growth which leads to the requirement for a passionate Account Payable Officer to join our team based in Heathwood, QLD.

**Responsibility**
- Paying invoices, including GST, and recording all payments.
- Assist to purchase items as purchase requests.
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, and statements.
- Tracking credits owed to the company.
- Reviewing all payments and expenses, including purchase orders, payroll and invoices.
- Reconciling monthly payable reports
- Preparing monthly expense statements and financial reports
- Responding to queries from suppliers, customers and staff

**Skills**
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent data entry skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience in using Microsoft Office, Adobe and MYOB.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
