Working as the eCommerce Coordinato r at IHG within the Marketing Team, the purpose of your role is to utilize the IHG digital tech stack to maintain best in-class website content and product merchandising practices for Mitre 10 and Home Hardware.
You will be instrumental in ensuring we are on a journey of continuous improvement by exhibiting a curious nature that leads to growth and improvement on our websites that sets the tone for a true customer-lead user experience online.
You will focus on data-led and best practice industry standards to inform and drive eCommerce channel performance, informing the Digital Experience Specialist on key website trends, insights and opportunities.
What you'll do
- Work with the broader Marketing, Promo and Design teams to gather and understand requirements for on-site content, objectives, and outcomes, related to marketing, promotional and brand online experience.
- Coordinate briefs into studio and external agency partners if/when required, utilising IHG briefing process and platforms.
- Owning end-to-end process of website content management: from creative brief to upload and build via Adobe Commerce Cloud platform, to reporting on performance of individual content elements.
- Working with the Promo team, keep across product and category performance, as well as new SKU onboarding schedule, ensuring readiness for launch, and maximizing sell-through from day one
- Support the Digital Experience Specialist and the broader digital team across the range of website optimization initiatives, from CRO to site A/B testing.
- Review and report on daily analytics of site performance, specifically factors affecting CR% and AOV metrics.
- Provide detailed reporting on catalogue performance, working with the Digital and Promo team to surface key insights related to omnichannel product or category performance.
What you'll bring
- 1+ years’ experience in eCommerce merchandiser or eCom assistant role, preferably in a retail / Direct to Consumer category or brand
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, able to work independently.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Hands-on experience with managing eCommerce platforms (Adobe stack preferred)
- Experience working collaboratively within a team environment, ability to provide clear feedback and direction.
- Take a set of complex business requirements and translate those into an actionable, easy to understand plan.
- Communicate in an engaging yet relatable manner, bringing multiple stakeholders on the journey with you.
- Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team.
