Our client’s are a boutique style IT Managed Services Provider and are committed to quality customer care and service to their clients.
-Due to considerable growth in the last few months they are now in the market for a stand-out IT Technician to join their warm and welcoming team of professionals.
They currently service the Melbourne, Bayside and Mornington Peninsula area and work from their home office.
**_The Role_**
The role offers a great work life balance with hours from 9,00am through to 5:30pm, Monday - Friday.
-Your Responsibilities will include:
Inhouse, remote and onsite technical support of a diverse client base.
- Managing / responding to service desk requests/ client incidents
- Resolve issues quickly to thier customer’s satisfaction.
- Troubleshooting desktop and server problems for customers.
- Working effectively as part of a team
- Ticket creation and reporting for all tasks.
- Maintain regular written and oral communication with clients and their users
- Maintenance and support of server hardware and software
- Updating change documentation for client networks
- Ensure that client tickets are being closed and falling within their assigned SLA’s
- Management of MS Office 365 licensing and related tasks
- Scheduling of remote and onsite services for clients.
- Monitoring of client backup and antivirus.
- Updating internal and client work procedures as needed.
- Other tasks as directed.
Key Criteria
Broad network knowledge (Domains, DNS, Wireless, LAN, FTP, VPN).
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar support role would be advantageous, but would look at an entry level GUN
- Strong computer diagnostic skills.
- The ability to follow through each job to completion without oversight.
- Microsoft Office 365 Administration - MS Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
- Must meet a high level of professional customer service.
- Have a roadworthy vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication skills.
- Complete a police check and working with children check
