Your opportunity
Anglicare is seeking a seasoned and accomplished Home Care Worker based at Castle Hill across our expansive 14-hectare seniors living site. This site comprises five independent villages and is poised for significant growth - from 700 to approximately 1000-1,500 (300 residents currently receiving care) residents over the next five to ten years. This role is instrumental in providing a person-centred care model aligned with Anglicare’s mission and values.
As a valued Home Care Worker at Anglicare working in Castle Hill on a Permanent Part Time you will provide compassionate, high-quality support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and live with dignity.
You will assist with daily living tasks, offer emotional support, and provide meaningful companionship. Your care will ensure clients feel safe, respected, and valued in the comfort of their own environment.
With kindness and understanding, you will provide:
Domestic Assistance - Supporting with household chores such as washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting.
Meal Preparation - Assisting with planning, preparing, and cooking meals. Personal Care Support - Helping with showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs.
Social Engagement - Providing companionship and encouraging participation in social activities and community engagement.
Transport Services - Offering transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.

To thrive in this role, you will need:
Essential:
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
- Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between customer locations
- Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended)
- Basic computer and smartphone literacy
Desirable:
- Previous experience in Home Care or Disability Support
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community)
You will also have:

- Patience - staying calm and composed in challenging situations
- Communication - clear and respectful interaction with clients and families
- Reliability - being dependable and consistent in care delivery
- Adaptability - adjusting to different needs and environments
