Support Workers assist NDIS participants with complex and varied behavioural, intellectual, mental health and physical support needs in homes and communities.

As part of our growing teams based across **ALL Melbourne Metropolitan Areas (**Southern, North East, West, Inner and Outer Eastern regions including Yarra Ranges & Cardinia)**, we are looking for qualified Support Workers to drive positive change in the lives of people in our community.
- CURRENT ROLES AVAILABLE:_
- _ South Eastern (Koo Wee Rup, _Cranbourne, Narre Warren areas)_

**What you’ll be doing**
No two days will be the same in this role, with support you provide including, but being not limited to:

- Following and implementing individual Behaviour Support Plans to assist NDIS participants to maintain or increase independence and achieve identified goals
- Providing support services to Customers with complex needs (inc. mental illness, autism and epilepsy), helping them to build confidence, self-determination and communication abilities.
- Occasional clients will require assistance with personal care such as hoisting on and off beds, showering, meal prepping.

**Qualifications**:
Along with your passion for supporting others, you will:

- Hold a minimum **Cert IV in Individual Support** (or equivalent) and/or combined with relevant experience
- Have substantial and demonstrated experience in managing complex behavioural support plans for clients who may have dual or multi diagnosis including intellectual, mental health concerns and exhibit additional behaviour of high concern - this would be preferred not required
- Bring your experience to support NDIS participants to achieve their personal goals and increase their personal capacity
- Hold a current state-based Driver’s License with a registered reliable vehicle
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitment process
- You will require a Police Check and current Victorian Working With Children's Check.
