Digital Printing

We are looking to re-structure the company due to the sudden, but ongoing illness of our Director, and require the services of a unique, dedicated, self motivated person to assist with this restructuring of the production facility which will be set up independently and manage and produce the work of a global market of highly experienced têxtile designers. One of the challenges will be be to install and integrate a second generation of Japanese printing equipment to replace the machines no longer supported by the manufacturer due to advancing technology.

We are looking to fill the role of Digital Print Manager. Other responsibilities include:

- Back up support for setting up new work stations, installations and delivery
- Has a thorough understanding of organic têxtile fabrics.
- Demonstrate good technical and customer relations, diagnostics, installation, removal and retrofits on assigned equipment.
- Most of our equipment is manufactured in Japan, technicians speak poor English so Japanese/English speaking person would be preferred.
- Performs basic connected installation, IP address setups, downloads printer drivers and provide potential employee training.
- Follow daily inventory management processes.
- Provide secondary support for ancillary equipment to the printing process.
- Maintains a productive, professional relationship with all company personnel.
- Capable of fielding the marketplace for potential workers.
- Displays good management skills with people and has experience in JIT production facilities.

Qualifications:

- At least two years in electromechanical and digital direct to fabric printing processes, including the understanding of ancillary equipment.
- Must be able to manage 25Kg rolls of fabric
- Strong team player with ability to independently perform work assignments, managing staff members, with hands on attitude.
- Work is typically performed in a temperature and humidity controlled indoor environment.
- Able to liaise with art room design team, having a positive attitude while producing optimal results working to tight deadlines.

Remuneration:
We are offering $75,000 plus super plus bonuses based on productivity for the right person.
