If so, Forestry Corporation NSW invites you to embark on an exciting journey as a Software Tester.
**The Opportunity**:
We have a great opportunity for two software testers to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract working with our Spatial Systems team. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our ArcMap Replacement Project.
**What you’ll be doing**:
The primary responsibility of the role is checking the quality of software and ensuring that it functions as expected. This includes the design of test plans and cases based on business requirements, performing manual and automated tests, and analysing results to identify bugs and inconsistencies. The role includes the documentation of the testing process and results.

**We would love you to have**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field
- Proven experience as a Software Tester
- Working knowledge of test management software
- Proven organisational skills - ability to plan and prioritise work, meet standards and deadlines.
- Experience in software development projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of spatial data management and GIS concept would be advantageous
