**Front of House / Café Assistant - Casual Position**

**Playshed Café - 6 Abruzzo Crescent, Thomastown**

We’re looking for a **friendly, reliable and experienced** team member to join our busy Playcentre café If you thrive in a fun, family-friendly environment and enjoy making great coffee and delicious food, we’d love to hear from you.

**About the Role**:

- **Casual position** with **2-3 shifts per week (guaranteed)**possibility for more shifts
- **Sunday availability is essential (non-negotiable)**:

- Must also be **available during school holidays**:

- Work in a bright, welcoming environment with a supportive team
- Opportunity to progress into learning how to **open and close the centre**

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Greeting and assisting customers with warmth and professionalism
- **Making quality barista coffee** (experience essential)
- **Food preparation and light cooking** (experience essential)
- Serving food and beverages with care
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the café and front of house area
- Assisting with general playcentre operations

**What We’re Looking For**:
**Experience in coffee making, food preparation, and cooking - essential**
A positive, can-do attitude and genuine love for hospitality
Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
**Availability on Sundays and during school holidays - non-negotiable**
Reliability, punctuality, and a friendly approach

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $24.95 - $39.87 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
