Based in Coopers Plains, our client is seeking Production Machine Operators for an immediate start.

Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of advanced pipe systems and solutions within the pipeline industry. They are a leading supplier of pipe systems and solutions where they manufacturer quality PVC, PE, PP, DICL and industrial pipe systems. A well-known client within the water, wastewater, gas and energy pipe systems.

**Role/s specifications**:
Rotating roster of Day and Night shift - 12-hour shifts

0600 - 1800 hours (Day shift) and 1800 - 0600 hours (Night shift)

Forklift ticket is preferred

Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening is mandatory

Ability to provide a copy of a police clearance within 6 months or be willing to obtain one

**PPE required**: Cotton drill long sleeve hi vis shirt, cotton drill long work pants, steel cap boots, safety glasses, safety gloves and hearing protection required

$38.13 per hour (flat rate)

Monday - Sunday rotating roster (84 hours per fortnight)

Driver’s license and car is preferred as public transport is limited in the area

Physically fit and strong - ability to move large volumes of plastic pipe (lifting and mechanical aids will assist)

Long term and secure employment opportunity available

**Duties**:
Production of plastic pipes and storm water drains

Operation of industrial machinery and equipment for manufacturing purposes

Use of overhead cranes

Forklift operation

Use of hand tools and electric strapping for specialised pallets

Quality checks to ensure production satisfaction and ability to identify any necessary rejects

Measuring of productions using approved equipment

Machine maintenance to minimise downtime on machines

Pre-start checks of machinery

You must have valid working rights within Australia to be considered for this role.
