The nominee will have the following responsibilities:

- laying and installing wall and floor tiles
- ensure work is conducted in accordance with building plans -inspect and interpret plans
- liaising with current and prospective clients as a representative of the business in the best interests of the business
- ensure that work is completed to specifications and in line with customer expectations
- understand the different types, styles and sizes of tiles
- consult and quote customers appropriately
- estimate quantities accurately when measuring for projects and take into account the waste factor
- completing projects within the allocated timeframe
- working both in a team and independently
- ensuring each project has adequate labour and materials to complete within the required specifications
The nominee is tasked with the following:

- measuring and levelling surfaces
- performing wall and floor repairs such as filling in holes and gaps, remove old carpeting and tiles and preparing surfaces for adhesives

**Main tasks**:
Nomination for a Temporary Skill Shortage Visa
- working with varied tile materials, stones and decorative mosaic patterns including ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, cement and terrazzo
- installing tiles on varied surfaces such as roofs, patio, walls, ceilings and floors
- screeding
- cutting tiles and stones to shapes and sizes according to plans and cutting for edges and corners and for fitting around pre
- existing objects

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
