We are on the look-out for kind and passionate carers to meet a growing demand for care at home. Our lovely clients are all over the north shore and northern beaches. We are seeking caring and compassionate people to provide support for these clients in their homes.

You do not need experience, we will train you The role involves helping the elderly through providing transport to appointments and shopping, social support, light cleaning, cooking or helping with daily tasks. Our clients are ever grateful for the companionship and support of our carers, often forming wonderful friendships with them. This is truly satisfying work, knowing you are making a difference in the life of another and enabling them to remain in comfort at home, for as long as possible.

You will need a **comprehensively insured car and a driving license** to get from client to client and to take clients to appointments or shopping.

**About you**
- Have a National Police Check or can obtain one
- Must have your own transport, current full drivers’ license, and fully insured vehicle
- Right to work in Australia
- Fully vaccinated for covid-19 including booster
- Able to work autonomously
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- And most importantly - be a truly compassionate, empathetic, and respectful person

**About us**

KOPWA is a respected and accredited aged care provider located in the leafy streets of Roseville. We have a residential and a home care division. Our home care division services Home Care Packages, both Government supported and Fee for Service, that support clients in their homes, comprising package Levels 1 to 4. These services are provided in the Ku-ring-gai area and extend into the Northern Beaches, Ryde and Hills Area.

As a business, we are currently going through significant change, building stage 2 of our redeveloped residential aged care facility and expanding Our priority is to maintain the wonderful culture we have created whilst also embracing change that supports our growth. We care about our staff, our residents and our clients and it shows.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $31.00 - $47.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- Police check (preferred)
