Belair on Broadbeach is looking for an energetic, motivated and proactive Public Area Cleaner to join our team. You will be joining a team who takes pride in the work they complete and who takes on the responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the cleaning needs of our hotels.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

- General cleaning in a Hotel environment
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
- Disinfecting areas such as public spaces
- Manual handling and lifting of equipment
- Removal of rubbish
- Use of chemicals to sanitise and disinfect
- Proactively manage stakeholder expectations
- Carry out programmed regular cleaning duties as allocated.
- Use and clean equipment with care, reporting any defective equipment
- Ensure all department equipment is maintained to a high standard.
- Report any suspicious persons or items to Supervisor.
- Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturer’s instructions.

This is a casual position which could lead to a fulltime roll for the right person. You will need full unrestricted Australian working rights.

**Salary**: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gold Coast, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
