**The Role**
The Security Assurance Manager - Technical and Delivery position is a part of the LAND/AIR/SEA Service Operations team embedded within the Service Operations Element in the Directorate of Deployed ICT. Day-to-day, this team supports the ICT environments that support Land, Air, Sea and Special Operations, these environments consists of the DIE and AUSMPE. Including FIE; however, this role is unlikely to undertake day-to-day activities for the FIE.

The role works closely with the other Service Assurance Managers, collaborating with multi-disciplinary resources within an Industry Partner workforce as part of the Work Package Partner construct. This roles primary focus is on ICT operations and the effective efficient delivery of support to the Warfighter and the supporting D-ICT eco-system.

This is achieved by mitigating disruption, impact to services and resolving issues within the bounds of:

- Contractual agreements for compliance and technical assurance;
- Policy;
- Processes;
- Procedures; and
- Business Rules.

**About our Team**
The Directorate of Deployed ICT (D-ICT) operates within the J6 Operations Support Branch under the Cyber Operations Division within Joint Capabilities Group. Our mission here at D-ICT is to deliver integrated, agile, robust, reliable, resilient and responsive Deployed ICT Services to enable the ADF to prevail in their warfighting mission.

D-ICT is a hybrid Systems Program Office and Information Technology Service Management organisation. It operates and sustains network capabilities/products built for, and operating in deployed environments that are not consistently serviced by the Defence Strategic Network as an extension of the Defence Single Information Environment. D-ICT currently supports the following products:

- Fleet Information Environment;
- Fleet Information System;
- Deployed Information Environment; and
- Australian Mission Partner Environment.
- Build and maintain a rapport with the ADF Communicators to provide a sustainable and functional IT service.
- Provide ADF Communicators and Industry Partners an escalation channel and prioritization as needed.
- Enabling Cross Functional Management teams, providing procedural oversight and direction.
- Technical assurance across Incident, Problem, Change, and Transition Planning.
- Contribute to the assessment of Industry Partner performance.
- Contribute to the review of Industry Partner CDRLs.
- Assure technical services are delivered based on OEM guidance, promoting best practice.
- Utilise an ITSM tool and other systems to track performance metrics, analysis of data, and the generation of reports.
- Frequent engagement with operational Industry Partner workforce.
- Performing Technical Change Approval Boards (DCAB).
- Substantiating technical Risk Assessments.
- Advocacy for the minimisation of adverse technical impacts to the Warfighter.
- Continual evaluation of Problems and system defects.
