**The Role & Project**

MACA Infrastructure are seeking a
**HSEQ Advisor** to join our modern head office based in Dandenong South. The position will be responsible for assisting with the management of HSEQ to ensure legislative compliance and continuous improvement of MACA health, safety, environment, and quality performance, within the scope of AS/NZS 4801, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Gather and collate the necessary records to verify the quality of the management system.
- Participate and assist with incident investigations including serious incident using ICAM methodology
- Take a leadership role in promoting, respecting, and complying with the health, safety and environmental practices of the organisation.
- Pro-actively participate in the MACA health and safety commitment to reduce all hazards and incidents in the workplace.
- Assist with risk assessments, implementation of Job Safety Analysis and inspect job activities during particularly difficult or hazardous work situations.
- Implement the safe systems in compliance with AS/NZS 4801, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Establish, maintain, and conduct audits/inspections to monitor performance and suitability of the management system, including data entry.
- Provide ongoing, field based, advisory support to the leadership team and crew
- Coordinate health and hygiene monitoring programmes.

**We are looking for**:

- Valid driver’s licence.
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or higher.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment looked upon favourably.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Sound computer skills with experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite.
- ICAM investigation training and experience, a distinct advantage.
- The ability to live away from home, when required.
