**About Your Next Opportunity**:
We now have an opportunity for full-time and part-time **Pathology Specimen Collectors** to join our Pathology Collection team in a number of our locations, in collection centres, from Burleigh to Pottsville, NSW. In this role, you will be working shifts between 6:00 am - 6:00 pm and participating in a rotating Saturday roster is required.

**Your primary responsibility will be taking blood samples from patients and maintaining positive relationships with external clients, GPs, and Medical Centre staff.**

Some of the more specific responsibilities of the position will be to:

- Treat our patients with care and compassion;
- Receive urine and faeces samples;
- Record patient information;
- Complete online training via our eLearning training system; and
- Liaise with referrers and ancillary services in other health settings.

**About You**:
If you love helping others and have a background in customer service, retail, front-end reception, or any customer-facing position, this is the role for you

You will embark on a comprehensive paid training course during your first twelve months of working with us. Once you’ve completed your training, you will receive an SNP training certificate.

- Can work effectively by themselves as well as with other team members.
- Has the confidence to work independently.
- Displays efficient time management and problem-solving skills

Moreover, you will have a commitment to service excellence with good interpersonal and liaison skills.

A First Aid Certificate is also a requirement of the role.

Although not essential, a Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection as well as previous experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors with a natural knack for caring for others will also be regarded highly.
