**About Our Opportunity**

Harvey Fresh, located in Harvey (140km south of Perth) is looking to recruit an experienced **Maintenance Technician, **to join our Maintenance team and make a positive impact on the business.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Ensure that all safety checks are performed as per instructions.
- Ensure that all change overs are performed according to verbal and written procedures.
- Promote a helpful and friendly relationship with customers and staff including communicating effectively with the production team and other members of the maintenance team.
- Carry out mechanical maintenance duties on equipment in accordance with the site preventative maintenance program, in order to achieve world class machine and line efficiency.
- Report any abnormal problems which may occur and could disrupt the smooth running of the operation.
- Carry out works to meet any required maintenance schedules.
- Respond to breakdowns by trouble shooting and identifying key issues, then repair, assemble and install to working condition.
- Log and complete all work in the maintenance system as listed on the work schedule.
- Read pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and fault find in a safe and efficient manner and make modifications as required.

To be considered for this position, you will require:

- Experience with maintaining equipment, including day to day maintenance, fault finding and planned maintenance.
- Experience in responding to breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise downtime
- Demonstrated ability to investigate failures and make recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems and processes
- Highly developed fault finding skills.
- Demonstrated experience in the performance of preventative maintenance
- Experience working in a continuous manufacturing environment;
- Experience in Liquid filling or Food manufacturing industry;
- Advanced experience with maintaining Tetra Pak UHT and ESL packaging equipment, highly desirable
You must be self-motivated; able to work shifts, work overtime and weekends as required, have a strong focus on safety, environment and quality and be able to work as part of an effective team.
