**The Role**

As the City Planning Lead, you will lead and develop the NSW?/ACT city planning business heading up a team of architects, city planners, urban designers and landscape architects.

Recent projects for this team include:

- Strategic planning and economic development strategies for a major Sydney business precinct
- Integrated planning advice to inform infrastructure contributions reform
- Land use and capacity analysis to inform large scale transport planning
- Social and economic appraisals for major infrastructure and development projects

Day to day responsibilities include:

- Delivery of strategic planning, urban economics and economic development advice
- Developing relationship within the cities markets
- Winning and delivering new business
- Work with regional leaders to set a business growth strategy
- Act as Project Manager and/or Technical Lead

**The Opportunity**

This is a high profile position which provides the opportunity to lead project specialisms, invest in research and collaborate with a variety of organisations while building a strong identity for the City Planning business.
- 10-15 years post-graduate exp in town planning, analysis and policy, ideally centered on strategic plans, local economic development studies, design, development of major master-planned precincts and housing and regeneration
- Extensive experience delivering high-quality work for public and private clients across planning, economic development, transport and infrastructure investment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Well-developed commercial acumen
- Consultancy experience preferred
