Supporting the City to achieve its vision, to be ‘the best place to be’, by delivering best practice advocacy to influence critical outcomes and community engagement activities that effectively involve the community in the decision-making process.

The successful applicant will possess;
- Demonstrated experience working in Government, Corporate Affairs or Engagement roles with proven stakeholder relations, advocacy and/or community engagement experience.
- Formal qualifications in arts, commerce, communications or similar.
- High-level interpersonal skills, including negotiating, influencing, and delivering all aspects of advocacy and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting of correspondence, presentations and materials
- A proven track record of results delivered from advocacy initiatives, including grant funding, campaigning and stakeholder engagement activities.
