Southern Cross Care QLD currently have an opportunity for you to join our SCCQ family as a casual Catering Assistant/Waiter/Waitress at our Caloundra Rise Retirement Village based in Little Mountain, next to Caloundra.

We are looking for that
**Casual catering assistant** to work both front of house and back of house in a retirement village bistro and kitchen. Working in a fully functional commercial kitchen and open dining room you will be supporting a head chef in production, serving customers, delivering meals and clearing tables for our village residents in accordance with the requirements of the Food Safety Program.

**What you will bring to the role?**
- You will demonstrate compassion, sensitivity and maturity to provide high quality meals
- Attention to detail and ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
- Experience working in commercial kitchen (desired)
- Must be flexible with start time and days (including weekends).
- Good knowledge of food safety (preferable HACCP).
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and to manage your time effectively
