Wirayangapa is seeking Expressions of Interest from passionate and reliable Community Support Workers to join our team, delivering culturally respectful and person-centred services to people in our community.

We provide services to Aged Care clients, people living with Disability, and private clients, supporting independence, dignity, and connection to community.

**Role Responsibilities**

As a Community Support Worker, you may be involved in:

- Transport to appointments, social outings, and community events
- Support with daily living tasks and personal routines
- Household assistance (cleaning, laundry, meal preparation)
- Shopping and errands
- Lawn care and light gardening
- Companionship and social support
- Accompanying clients to appointments and recreational activities

**Desired Criteria**
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
- Understanding of cultural safety and community engagement
- Experience in aged care, disability support, or related fields
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current NSW Working with Children Check NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $27.00 - $42.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Working with Aboriginal community members: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (required)
