**Opportunities Available**:
A well-respected **Currumbin** Steel Manufacturer, **require a suitably experienced Machine Operator to complete **manufacturing of metal products **on **afternoon shifts **in a steel production manufacturing workshop environment.

Direct responsibilities:

- Responsible for operation, loading and unloading steel bars, operating controls, setting bend angles and inspection of quality parts in accordance with requirements
- Arrange machine at the beginning the shift to ensure that everything is in order.
- Examine completed steel pieces for defects, such as chipped edges or any sort of defective pieces according to type of product.
- Place finished steel pieces on a rack or pallet with the tag prior to load in accordance with the schedule.
- Identify, properly tag, and remove non-conforming materials.
- Only applicants with full working rights to Australia can be considered for this role_

**To be considered for the roles all applicants must have**:

- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen.
- Relevant physical fitness to perform manual handling duties of steel products and use of tools repetitively.

This **role offers temp to perm conditions on an afternoon shift**:

- Monday to Thursday 2pm-10.10pm & Friday Midday - 6pm (overtime opportunities available)
