- Permanent, full-time hours
- $35 per hour + Super + Regular Overtime

- Global manufacturing business based in Brookvale, NSW
- Employ 1000 + staff
- Manufacturer industrial equipment and machinery
- Growing engineering team, including Fitters, Machinists, Engineers
- Able to support formal TAFE qualifications

- Safety is number 1 priority

**The Job**:

- Provide support to tradespeople and engineers in the maintenance, repair and installation of mechanical systems and equipment
- Carry out routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure machinery and equipment is running efficiently and safely
- Assist with the installation, commissioning and testing of new machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot problems with machinery and equipment and recommend solutions
- Conduct general workshop duties including operating power tools, maintaining workshop cleanliness and organization, and participating in daily safety checks
- Opportunity to be trained as a qualified Fitter and/or Machinist overtime

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an engineering or mechanical environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in the use of hand and power tools, including welding and fabrication equipment
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
