**Essential requirements**:
- Current medical practitioner registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and/or eligible for specialist registration as a Specialist General Surgeon and/or is on an approved pathway to obtain specialist recognition as an International Medical Graduate
- Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons
- Evidence of relevant technical expertise undertaking surgery and procedures appropriate to a Post Graduate Fellow’s training, skills, expertise and the available facilities including equipment, team, conditions and staffing
