Upholsterer

Carleton Custom Upholstery is a family-owned business that has been operating for over 50+ years in Queensland, located in Brisbane and Toowoomba. We focus mainly in residential and occasionally commercial furniture upholstery and restoration. Carleton strives itself on providing high quality workmanship.

We are looking for an experienced high-quality upholsterer or machinist to be located at our Toowoomba factory. Someone who is good with all aspects in upholstery or a machinist, with Minimum Certificate III in Upholstery and skill such as:
**Upholstery**
- Sprung edge
- Diamond buttoning
- Recliners
- Antique work
- Cutting
- Sewing

**Machinist**
- Overlocking
- Joining fabrics/ pattern matching
- Twin stitching
- Working with leather
- Cutting
- Sewing

**Key duties in either role will include**:

- Working in a time efficient manner
- Working in a team environment for effective production
- Identifying quality issues
- Using industrial machines

**We are offering above award wage for the right applicant and assistance in relocating if required.**

Pay: $70,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
