**About Us**

Operating for over 40 years, Leppington Speedy Seedlings is a family owned and operated nursery providing quality seedlings and seeds to growers throughout Australia. With properties in New South Wales, Victoria and Southern Highlands. Leppington Seedlings is a specialist seeding grower and recognised amongst Australian and overseas farmers. Further to our primary operation, Leppington Seedlings has a research and development lab and provides specialised consultancy to help assist Australian farmers with growing their crops and produce.

**The Role**

On any given day you will be involved in:

- Assisting in general nursery operations where required;
- Washing of trucks and machinery;
- Loading and unloading trucks;
- Keeping the yard in a tidy and organised manner;
- And some truck deliveries (providing you have the appropriate licensing)

To be considered for this position the successful applicant must have:

- Forklift license and experience
- Experience operating various machinery and ability to use a variety of hand tools
- HR license and experience _(preferable but not essential)_
- Tractor experience _(preferable but not essential)_
- Welding experience _(preferable but not essential)_
- A base level of physical ability and capacity to work outdoors
- Sound written and oral communication skills
- General knowledge of plant equipment
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment

This role requires a significant amount of physical activity including bending, lifting, walking, sitting, turning, and repetitive motion.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leppington, NSW 2179: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
