- Are you a Data Engineering Manager or Tech Lead with experience in end-to-end transformations? Join our client - an Aussie Technology Bank**The Client**:
Leading Aussie Bank dedicated to innovation and collaboration.
- Having invested in the latest cutting edge technologies, this Bank is ready to launch into a new wave of data-driven solutions.**The Role**:
Lead a large-scale transformation for a future-ready Data Platform which will include key projects such as moving from Apache Airflow workflow to Argo
- and developing Real-Time, Events Based Streaming (via Kafka).- Lead a close-knit team of data engineers and be responsible for delivering on business and technology objectives
- Deliver the data strategy and transform platforms, tooling & frameworks.
- Provide expertise in big data technologies, data modelling, and the analysis of external requirements
- Lead technical design discussions, estimation, and planning
- Develop strong working relationships with senior leaders in the business
- Become an SME for the business as a technical, hands-on leader

This is a Hybrid working environment : 3 days in office / 2 days WFH**Ideally, you will have**:

- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Data Engineer working across data warehousing, big data, data pipelines in an enterprise environment
- Previous experience as a Data Engineering Manager or Team Lead
- Exceptional core skills in Python, SQL, Spark, and AWS
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
- Be a champion for diversity & inclusion by building & leading diverse and inclusive teams
