Waterford Discount Meats, a reputable and established butcher shop, is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Butcher to join our team. If you have experience in the meat industry and a strong commitment to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service, we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cut various types of meat, including beef, pork, lamb, and poultry, according to customer specifications and requests
- Use appropriate tools and equipment, such as knives, saws, and grinders, ensuring safety regulations are followed
- Package and label meat products with accuracy, ensuring proper storage conditions are maintained
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection, answering questions about products, and offering cooking recommendations
- Clean and sanitize work area, tools, and equipment regularly to maintain hygiene standards
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies Requirements:

- Previous experience working as a Butcher in a similar environment is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of different cuts of meat and their quality characteristics
- Strong knife skills and ability to work with precision and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently - Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $69,160.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
