Then you could be the perfect Anaesthetist to join the professionals at Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD). We’re looking for a qualified Anaesthetist who can:

- Support the development of anaesthetic services
- Support and facilitate a culture of learning and best practice
- Support and develop anaesthesia research within the department
- Commit to join our team for a minimum of 470 hours per annum
- Be confident working on a variety of cases including paediatric patients

Applications from **Staff Specialists** are welcome. Salary for permanent 1 FTE **_$262,376 - $354,479_**plus superannuation guarantee levy and any other applicable allowances as per the Staff Specialist State Award.

Staff Specialist’s also have access to:

- Training, Education and Study Leave (TESL) - $38,000 and 25 calendar days and per year
- Salary packaging - less tax and more take-home pay

For **Visiting Medical Officers** interested in the position, you will be expected to participate in reasonable on-call shared amongst your anaesthetic colleagues. Paediatric skills would be favourable.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
