Medical Imaging Receptionist

**About the business and the role**

Our busy practice needs an experienced Medical Imaging Receptionist to join our team. We are a private Radiology company that provides a range of medical imaging services including CT, Ultrasound, MRI, General X-Ray, OPG and BMD services.

Highly desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

- Previous experience in a radiology practice
- Sound knowledge of the relevant Medicare Benefits Schedule and associated rules
- Demonstrated sound competency in the use of standard software packages
- Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills both in person and over the phone
- Possess a positive and happy personality
- Ability to multi-task
- Possess a caring and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to assist the patients using our facilities, both in person and over the phone
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative and that you are willing to accept responsibility
- Possess excellent oral communication skills

You will be committed to delivering exceptional customer service to our patients, referring practitioners and work colleagues and want to work as part of our motivated, flexible and close-knit team.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**

This role involves a variety of clerical duties, including the provision of exceptional customer service including: patient registration and billing, booking appointments, Medicare claims and completion of work summary.

**Skills and experience**

Previous experience in Radiology or Medical administration is highly regarded

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
