**About the Role**

This is a **fast-paced and physically demanding role**. You'll be on your feet all day, lifting up to 20kg repeatedly, moving with speed and precision. We work hard and move quickly — this job suits someone with **high energy, hustle, and strong attention to detail**.

**Position Summary**

We’re hiring a **casual employee** for **16-32 hours per week**, working:

- Weekdays
- **Saturday** (Farmers Market - early start)
- **Sunday** (Farmers Market - early start)

The role is split between **hands-on farm work** and **running our weekend market stalls**. You must be **fit, reliable, fast-working, and confident in sales**.

**Location**: Kardinya, WA
**Hours**: 16-32 hours per week
**Pay**: Award wages, with opportunity for more hours and progression

We’re **The Mushroom Guys**, a Perth-based **urban gourmet mushroom farm** supplying some of WA’s best restaurants and farmers markets.

**What We’re Looking For**

Manual driver’s licence and **your own vehicle** (essential)
Based in the **Perth metro area** (not regional)
Physically fit - able to lift **20kg+** and work at pace
Reliable and **punctual** - especially for **6:00 AM** market starts
Experience in **sales, customer service, or hospitality** (preferred)
Fast learner with **attention to detail**
**Two contactable references** required

⭐ **Responsibilities**

→ Harvesting and boxing mushrooms
→ Preparing and mixing mushroom grow blocks
→ Cleaning and sterilising fruiting rooms and equipment
→ Running farmers market stalls on weekends
→ Loading/unloading produce, setting up and packing down stalls
→ Taking on more responsibility as you learn
→ + Many more farm and production tasks
