Day to day responsibilities
- selecting correct glass and products for each task
- removal of existing glass, door and window units and site preparation including cutting and hack outs
- installations, inspections, diagnosing problems, testing, repair, maintenance, removal, replacement, of double glazing
- identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices and health and safety
- carry out planned tasks in accordance with contract/agreed requirements on electrical services and associated systems
- carry out tasks within agreed time limits
- ensure compliance to agreed codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety
- maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work
- report to Line Manager
- immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Line manager
- meet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole
- contribute towards the smooth running of the team
- adhere to all organisation policies and procedures

From time to time you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role.

You are responsible for your allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager.

You must contribute towards the smooth running of the organisation generally.

**Job description**

We are looking for a hardworking and dependable person to join our team as a Window Installer. You will take measurements and help install or replace windows in both residential and commercial buildings. We expect you to be able to drive tools and materials to and from worksites, so you should have a driver's license and truck or another reliable source of transportation. Every member of our team must maintain a safe and clean workspace. Window Installer

- Install or replace windows in residential and commercial buildings
- Take measurements
- Assist with remodelling duties as necessary

Window Installer Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Carpentry skills
- Familiarity with power tools
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Flexible schedule
- Bilingual communication skills preferred

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Canberra ACT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
