Operator / Forklift Operator

**About the role**:
Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Chipping Norton site, the Operator will perform a range of operating duties within the metal recycling yard. This is a permanent day shift role with hours from 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday. There will be on-the-job training provided and excellent opportunities for career progression.

Pay rate for this role is $32.88 per hour.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Loading and unloading trucks
- Operating forklifts to load and unload trucks and shipping containers
- Performing manual handling tasks
- Maintaining cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
- Conducting daily checks on mobile plant
- Adhering to safety procedures at all times

Skills and experience:

- Forklift licence and experience is essential
- Excavator experience advantageous
- Experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing is highly advantageous
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced yard environment
- A positive mindset with a general willingness to learn
- Passion for working as part of a collaborative team
